Magic as in Harry Potter magic is not real, but Magick is real.

Magick is not only in all of us, but is also around us. Most people doesn't realize it. Many prefer to see it as unnatural even when it is something natural. Others, like me, love to use it, but not abuse it.

Of course, I did like the movies about Harry Potter, and I have wondered how fun it would be to make my landlady grow a tail and big ears for a couple of days.

question can a person get magic powers ? first define magic. i see magic as energy set in motion, by the force of our will, backed by faith and lots of butt busting work. reach in your pocket and pull out a bic lighter, just in a time machine and go back 100 yrs and light up. one that would be viewed as magic, and the next flame you see is you tied to a stake. as a wiccan, i find that magic is all around us, and sometimes the best magic i use is getting out of bed in the morning.

yes magick is very real.as for some ppl think that it doesnt exist that is full of bloney.i am a dark witch of the Wicca religion,the old religion,and i use magick everyday in my life.i cannot prove to nobody that it is real,they have to find out for themselves.that is the key to learning about the magick.is to look for it for yourself.once you have accepted it to find it and explore it,than comes the easy task.to learn it.to some it is easy,for some,maybe not so easy.it all depends on how you do it in your lifestyle.there is good magick and than there is bad magick.this is some of the things that ppl abuse.if you abuse the magick in a bad way,than that's what kind of results that you will expect in the outcome of the magick.the fact that you can do magick by yourself is the most strongest magick of all.if you do wanna learn the magick,and than you do it,making it your own creation is the most powerful of all.if you get someone else's magick that they ahave created than there wont probably be good outcome.

I agree with the above poster's question dealing with what exactly you define magic. I believe to a certain degree magic does exist in the manner that most of the rituals and what not are designed to sharpen their mind, improve visualation and forsight and improve one's focus. I think it as a means to "re-program" the inner workings of one's mind and spririt according to one's wishes and desires. If one is able to do that, then nothing is impossible. As the old saying goes, "where ever the mind goes, the body follows."

Well yes, magic is real... Here is a step by step guide to magic...

1. Summon Lucifer... Not to Hard...

2. Sell your soul ( that parts easy - most people dont use theres much, so there worth alot)

3 acquire a grimoire, preferably bound in human skin with a fancy unpronouncable latin name like th Necronomicon of the mad Arab Abdul Al-Hazrad

4 Use its power and incantations to raise a heavyweight Daemon to be your familiar, but remember, Daemons are your friends! Lucifer doesnt want to harm you... The Morning Star gives us candy...

5 force it to assume animal shape, preferably something "evil" like a rat, bat, salamander, fly, etc.

To the poster above above, don't use the Lucifer-and-crap campaign again to say your twisted perception of magic (I really don't like using the K) is demonic.

Magic is real but there is no one definition for it, we can only describe magic as the art of miracles. Yet, as we all know there is no one formulae for all the miracles we have seen....if any.

I do think one person can get magic 'powers', if they are obesseive enough and objective enough to weave their way through the MANY lies and false-endings to reach something they hope to obtain as a skill.

With enough devotion and observation (One must have an analytical mind), somebody should be able to notice the small patterns that happen miraculously when done. Like just for a fantastical example, waving your hand in a complex manner usually ends up in a small breeze (Just for example!). Then experiment how to make the breeze bigger...so that you can blow up someone's skirt.

Then keep in mind something, you can never have enough 'magic powers' to harm and destroy as anyone pleases. The world just won't allow it. In all things, we have intrustion and protection. Our skin stops our insides from being washed out, the earth has a layer of ozone to stop the sun's attack. You won't be strong enough to take another one's life, even if you are-you'd have to give up your own for life should be greater than magic for life invented magic.

Then again, what I mentioned above does not necessarily apply to magic. It can also apply to inventions, to technology to experiments.

**If anyone says magic is demonic, they are trying to retard humanity. They are giving up un themselves, leaving everything miraculous to some other being-Gods or demons. Trusting themselves to be meek and helpless, to be dependent un others to fend for themselves. This is not how anyone should behave, stand up for yourself and stop relying un god or devil.
