The yacht that Buckley owned...the "Suzy Wong" was a 40 ft. yawl (a "Nevins 40"), designed by Sparkman & Stephens. Buckley bought it in Miami from 4 men who had served together in the army in Japan.

The 4 men had bought the all-teakwood boat in an unfinished condition from the American Yacht Yard in Hong Kong. They took two months to work on the boat themselves, finishing the deck, installing electrical and plumbing systems, sanding and painting the hull and installing the rigging.

The men took 18 months to sail the boat from Hong Kong to Miami, Florida. Buckley bought the "Suzy Wong" from the 4 men in Miami for $30,000. and he sailed the boat for 19 years.

Sorry that I couldn't come up with a picture of it.

Probably not much help, there was a movie named Suzie Wong starring William Holden in about that timeframe.
Good luck.
