Actually yes he has done fairly well. He's worked his butt off on the ice and been a good character guy in the locker room. Obviously he's no where near the old dominant Roenick but he wasn't expected to be. He's being paid 3rd line money and has easily lived up to that role. As a Coyote fan (I'm actually going to see them tomorrow!!) I'm very pleased with what he's brought to the team. When you consider his salary (1mil) and contract length (1yr), Roenick has definitely been worth his keep for the Yotes this season!
You're not going to make a fortune on it but as long as it's in good condition a rookie Roenick card will be worth some money. Especially if he makes the Hall of Fame which is quite likely.

Decent, nothing special. But the guy who said Roenick has done nothing with any team.. he doesn't know ANYTHING about hockey. He should go back to when he was in Chicago, Phoenix (Not the recent time he way on them, the year he went from Chicago to Phoenix), then to Philly. He didn't do well on the Kings, but it's the Kings, who does do good.. unless your last name is Kopitar or Cammalleri. He was a consistent 60+ points for 90-95% of his career. Future hall of famer.

Roenick is near the end of the line but he has had a vey good career.
I saw him play in Hull when he was a junior and he was one of the best I have ever seen.
Wheather you like him or not you have to admit he always gave a 110% effort and that is why he has had so many injuries.

Let me ask you this question: has Roenick "done good" with any team? And, yes, any high-profile athlete's rookie card is always a good thing to have.

Meh... Not bad I guess... I just can't stand to listen to the jerk...
And hockey cards aren't worth a lot of money anymore... It's because nobody saved them back 30 years ago, so rookie cards of guys like Orr and Gretzky are worth something because they are hard to find... Then in the mid 80's to early 90's people realized how much money they were worth, so EVERYONE started collecting them... Since there is a much larger supply of cards of later players, they are not worth as much... It's a good example of Supply and Demand...

He's 9 goals short of 500. I hope he achieves that mark and hangs up the skates. His last productive season was with PHX in 2000 and his last 100 point effort was 13 years ago.
