1.Start to apply lip gloss in the rear view mirror.
2.Try to put a new CD in the player.
3.Start looking in my purse for something.
4.Try to light up a cigarette.
Any one of these makes the damned red light change every time!

I pay attention, and wait for it to turn green, so I can then promptly proceed forward, rather than annoying other drivers by sitting there oblivious to it, because I've stupidly decided that a frickin' red light was a perfect excuse for me to cram some trivial task or activity into my excursion.

i like to look at people around me to see what they are doing. Mostly picking their nose, arguing at each other... arguing on the cell phone.... or tapping their fingers on the steering wheel impatiently waiting on the light to change.
