Is there anything more important than knowing that you're important to someone else?

I dont think there is anything more important really, most people above said being important to yourself, which of course is true.But without the thought of someone needing you, wanting you and relying on you either just for a phone conversation when they're sad, or just to see your smiling friendly face when they're down is much better than being important to yourself and gives your life substance.

I'm important to my family and friends, if i didn't feel important to anyone i'd feel mighty alone!! I think if i didn't have friends and family to feel important to my life wouldn't be worth living. they save me and hopefully i save them!

Yes. It is more important to know that you love yourself more than any other person could love you. And, as a result, it doesn't matter if you are important to anyone else.

its a really good feeling knowing about your importance in others life.
you r always importtant to yourself,thats obvious.But when we know that we are important ta someone else as well our self esteem goes up,we take more care of ourself because we know that if something happens to us it will effect others as well.
life is not just eating,drinking and living for ownself.life gets new meaning when connected to someone else like your hubby/kids/friends/parents/students etc.
So I don't think there can be anything more important than knowing that you r important to someone else.

knowing how important you are to your self and your family, is the most important thing and if someone else just happens to think your important too, then thats just an extra bonus and you are blessed!!
