i lived w/ this guy for 3 years and we had this great relationship for 5 yrs.things went sour went we decided to work abroad.we're both feeling then somethings going on wrong but we didnt talk about it.so, i ended up being the first one to fall.with my mistake,i realized then, i love & need him so much & we should do something about it. he agreed but when i told him what happened to me, he had second thoughts.I couldnt lie. He said,we better see each other & talk about it. So, i went back to our country. While he has to finish his contract. but he used tol find time to communicate to me and i am still welcome to his family. However, as time goes on, he seems to be interested to someone else who is showing affection to him. Though, he told me, he knows he still love me.It has just been hard for him to to forget. However, as time goes by,he seems to be protecting the girl more. Then, he came to the point of telling me, it's up to me if i should wait. I shouldnt be that hopeful he said.

it's over. you screwed up the first time and he hasn't forgotten about it and probably won't... truth is you two aren't talking openly and are avoiding something... if you really really want him back, you gotta show him the affection he needs and the communication that's lacking... plus how would he know you won't cheat again??? if he can forgive you, you've got a chance to work hard at making it work out... a relationship needs working on daily... maybe it would do you good to just give it up and just be friends... or you two could go counselling if he can forgive...

i'ld say this is your mistake, and you should learn from it and move on... if he forgives you, learn from your mistake and never let it happen again :D gd luck...

Jeez. He told you that you "shouldn't be so hopeful" when it comes to waiting for him. That's pretty much a coward, roundabout way of saying "I'm not interested in you anymore, I have moved on with this other girl." Save yourself the time and energy and move on. He is obviously not interested in forming a relationship with you because he is not making the effort to really speak with you about this. You can find another man who is interested in getting to know you and wants to spend time with you. Good Luck.

Don't wait, go! waiting is only hurtful and unnessarry sorrow, drags the heartache on longer, just cut it off and find someone who will really appreciate you and not make you wait but someone who wouldn't want you to wait but wants to be with you every moment

Hey I don't think a woman should ever wait for a man that's with someone else. . .c'mon!!! WOMEN wait for no man! Why should you be miserable while he's getting laid? Nooo! Get yours!

Sounds like hes already let you go and now its your turn. It's sad how it all turned out, but things just happen sometimes.
