What percentage of jobseekers find jobs thru recruitment ads?

Anyone know where I can find stats or can give me a rough idea?

I don't know the over all stats - but I've included a craigslist link for you that may be helpful.

I counted the jobs I've had since I was 16, 7 I got through networking and two I got by actually applying.

When I talk to people and candidates for my company, that seems to be the norm as well. Make sure to join professional organizations and join networking sites like LinkedIn and that will increase your chances. Also, write a bang up cover letter, that always helps.
