I think he will remain the same as last year.

No, I don't think Webber will win. A podium maybe, but a win for Red Bull just doesn't seem likely. They simply aren't strong enough, yet. They need more time to develop into a really good team.

The attrition races (Hungaroring 2006-like) could be Mark's big chance. I don't think he made a step backwards by heading to Red Bull, because right now it seems that they abandoned 2006 mid-season and focused their attention on 2007. The car is looking pretty good so far in testing, but they still have work to do, starting with long-run performance.

btw, it will be the first time since 1997 when a car designed by Newey will be powered by a Renault engine.

the latest test in Spain showed Red Bull might be on the pace. Coulthard topped the charts with the fastest time after completing 116 laps ok. Webber might win on a track like Monaco, but he should get a few podiums this year. Red Bull should be competitive with the Renault engine, so subject to reliability he might win one this year.

I don't think that RBR is strong enough yet to win a race. There are too many other stronger teams that could snatch a win here or there before RBR. It does help though that they were able to snatch Adrian Newey for the design of the car. I can tell by RB3 and the Toro Roso car the influence that Newey had with the design. Not that I think that Weber couldn't win but not with this team yet.

ever since Webber arrived in f1 ive been hearing about how good he is, as if hes destined for greatness, but i haven't seen it, half the time Christian Cline was beating him, and he was hailed as the rookie who was only in the sport because he had sponsor money, i like Webber but i think his P.R. department is better at what they do than he is at what he does

It's a shame, but I doubt it. he's a decent driver, but the team really isn't there yet. Of course, if we have one of these nasty races where the front guys take each other out, then he's got a good chance. I can't see him as champion, but he'll do well if he can get the right team under him.

The only teams that really have a decent shot this year are McLaren, Ferrari, Renault, and maybe Honda if they can figure out how to stop their engines blowing up...

Take my word for it you may be surprised! Word is that both he and the team are performing far better than anticipated so I think he will cause more a few upsets along the way.
