Once I get the confermation about my pregnacy how do I tell the father-to-be? I mean he knows that we had unprotected sex but he doesn't know YET that I am pregnant. Should I wait until I get the doctors confirmation?

Sorry, I guess u'r true I did post this in the wrong area. I guess bcuz everything I have ever posted here has been in this area really didn't think about it.

I would wait until you get the FOR SURE word that you are indeed pregnant.
As far as telling the guy... how would you like to hear the news?
Hand him a test that says positive, or come out and tell him straight forward. Buy a neutral baby item like a onsie and hand it to him. Go out to eat to discuss something! It's up to you.
I cried and woke my hubby up handing him a HPT and asking what he saw! He said 2 lines and I said yes, I'm in trouble! (I was hysterical, there was NO way I could be pregnant!, The Dr's all told me it couldn't happen.) BTW it was a faint line and I even called the company telling them it was wrong. My husband laughed his butt off at me! It wasn't funny at the time, but looking back ....

I would wait until you know for sure. Then you have to judge how he will react...Will he be happy about it? If so you can try telling him in a fun way. I knew someone that painted one half of her tummy pink and one blue and asked her husband to pick a color. But if you think he might be afraid, or upset..pick a time when he is relaxed, not right when he gets home from work or anything like that...and just tell him.

Maybe you should give him a heads up...why not sit down and have a talk with him and tell him that you MAY be pregnant so he has time for it to sink in before you get the results...then you can start planning together on what to do next~ Good Luck!

I'm curious as to why you chose to post this question under "trying to conceive" it sounds more like a relationship question. Are you married? does he want a baby? Have you actually been trying for a baby? This section is more for people who are trying to get pregnant and finding it very hard. Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope your man supports you. IJust be truthful.

i would then you can get a i love daddy frame and wrap it up for him inside put a note reserved for baby to be due what ever day its due good luck
