Why didn't King Midas use his first name??

By studying Greek history it6 has been discovered that King Midas' first name was either Ralph , Fred, or Dufus ( his wife Rhinopolis' pet name for him) So why didn't they ever put this on any scroll?

Kings use only one name that is regognized by everybody. As far for the first names you gave here, i don't think that they existed at that time.
