Anyone has any idea which chinese restaurant will be open on first day of CNY. where can i get this information?? thank you very much

Not sure about Chinese restaurants but if you want other cuisines, you could try Little India/Serangoon Road.

All the Chinese restaurants in the hotel are opened for CNY but you have to pay an arm or legs for their menu.

Most restaurants are open on eve. but beware i went for 5 reunion eve dinner all in good restaurant. All were very bad. The food, service all teruk case. On normal day they are very good. When restaurant are fully pack, they don't hv enough staffs. Go try out....

if u really need to eat at a restaurant, those located in a hotel and clubs should be quite safe, right?

do not go to tam kah shark fin restaurant at chinatown. Bad service and lousy food.
