Would like to know which one is most efficient. How many appliances can work on a single unit.

google it works well...... but we have installed about 10 in the past 16 months....u want one that will handle ur house needs....remember to add up ur usage at one time...
ex: shower heads 3gal per min.( so if wanting to use 2 showers at the same time u need one that will do at least 7 gals a min.)
dishwashers- about 1.5 gals per min
clothes washer- 2 gals per min but only for a short time span
we only use 7.2 - 7.8 gals per min units in the homes i build...1800 sq ft...to 4000 sq ft.
stay around 190,00 btu's - 220,000 btu's units.....
hope this helps......oh, and gas is the best way to go.

just punch in tankless hot water heaters on the web.
They have been around for 60 years you can get them gas or electric
