I need to say this but this is how I feel. I don't feel like were really friends any more I never call you and you never call me. So what I am trying to say is maybe its quits on our friendship. To tell you the truth when you were in Israel I really did not miss you. I know that is harsh but its true another thing is you truly don't know me that well. I gave you a necklace because I know you like Jewelry for your birthday . Me I got a stupid Red Eye Video that I could check out from blockbuster. You gave me a dumb candle when I gave you sun glasses, ring, evil eye bracelet. The last time I saw you when you gave me a hannukah gift I felt like I did not know you! You change a lot and so have I. I threw away the candle it had some chips on it and it was so un thoughtful! Alona as ex-friend you need help you really do ! You should go back to Mrs. Friedman or another doctor to talk too. If you want the red eye video back and i could gave you the pictures of u and me you can have them other wise I am throwing it all away. I can buy you another candle and gave you back the red eye and you can give back all the stuff I gave you. If that helps you remember were not friends any more! We can't work this out I thought about this over and over again. We must end our friendship. I will let you mail me one last time to say your good byes and hear what you have to say. If you want to meet me to return all the stuff i gave you and you gave me mention the time and the place on the e-mail please don't call me i have nothing more to say to you.




Someone who I thought used to be my friend but was mistaken its just another person in the world.

Well, I've never felt the need to be that descriptive about a failed relationship. I guess if you really needed to spell it out that much, you definitely succeeded.

The fact that you were so specific about stuff means that the relationship probably meant a lot...are you a little ambivalent about it, still? I mean, when I say, go away and never call me again, I mean it. Why did you leave the door open for her to contact you again?

I don't think it's all that bad, really. At least you gave a good explanation for how you feel.

I think you may have been too harsh. Nowhere in your letter does it show you have tried to ask "hey, what`s going on with you, it seems we are changing". You may feel abandoned, or ignored - but not everyone can give the perfect gift. it is the THOUGHT that counts, and not the present. Your friend cared enough to bring you a present, where it could have been none. About throwing away things - fine, can happen - but advertising it like this - no, really - that could hurt someone. So, yes, i think this is too harsh. I hope your friend can forgive you for this unkindness.
