I really don't know what to do at this point. can you help my be more self confident? Right now I'm even afraid to ask this question becaus ei don't know what people will say! Also I'm not looking for style advice because I get compliments on my clothes and stuff all the time, I'm talking about self confidence on the inside!

you should always remember that there's no harm in trying...and to be self-confident is just be yourself...people will know how a great person you really are....just be yourself that's it!!..don't mind other people..they're juts insecured of you =D

Seriously, like Irish Eyes says, fake it until you feel it.

I know it sounds mad, but I was never confident as a teenager or a young adult, but I pretended I was, which is easier than you think. I am now very confident generally.

It is normal to have unconfident moments though, so don't worry, nobody is 100% confident!

Start telling yourself good things, for example, you receive compliments on your style, so people probably already think you are more confident than you feel.

Each night as you are going to sleep tell your self one thing you did that was confident. Think of another situation where you didn't feel so confident and work out how you would behave in that situation if you could do it over again. Hindsight is actually a much better thing than people give it credit for!

This will at least help you to realise that 1. you are more confident already than you thought 2. you will have the confidence to deal "better" with, or be more prepared for, similar situations in the future.

Well done for gaining the confidence to ask this question, I know it probably took a lot of guts, but you've done it now, and it really wasn't that bad after all was it? :)

Oh, and smile. Smiling makes you feel so good inside, trust me, that's my favourite trick.

I think a lot of it depends on age and experience.

I felt this way a lot as a teenager, and at 29 years old I now feel comfortable in my skin.

Many people your age probably feel exactly the same way. They just do not show it on the outside.

It sounds like you get positive feedback from other people, so this should help. Discovering and developing your skills in other areas (hobbies, interests, sports, etc) will help things along.

Having a good support network of friends and family helps too. It is time to start thinking about what people around you support you, and which ones bring you down! Then spend more time with the folks that make you feel good about yourself. And spend less time on people who don't.

You should feel proud about yourslef...
but during school wear ur normal clothes that u luv, maybe fake 4 a little and try to seem proud bout urslelf. When ur walking in school smile, and hold ur head high and maybe try a different walk. You can maybe play one of ur fave relaxing songs in ur head.
and ino this sound weird but look at urself in the merror and shout out some things you love about urslef.
in no time ur feel great about ur self

Most people lack self confidence. Most people are afraid of rejection and critics. They just ACT self confident. Try it.

When you start thinking about other people, you stop worrying more about how you appear or act around other people. Get involved in a community project or something where it isn't all about you, and you'll be so focused on other people that you won't even think about yourself!

Well, here's what I think. I think you should make a list of everything that you're good at, who loves you, what you like best about yourself, etc. You should also pray. Ask God to help you with this. He loves you so much and it hurts Him to see you like this! But, if it's so severe that your going through depression and you're thinking about suicide, get help immediately. I hope you take this to mind!

you just have to realize for yourself that there is no reason to be paranoid and you just have to kinda let things go. Just believe in yourself and you will be great.

be proud of who you are, yall dont gotta try be anyone else, just be you!! yall shouldnt give a rip bout wut anyone thinks, cuz its ur life and its urs to live!!
