I don't get offended because I'm female, I get offended by the profanity and obscenity PERIOD. While I do think that the guys go over the top sometimes with their comments toward women, the female rappers and hip-hoppers aren't any better. I think they all go too far with the cursing and sexually explicit language, I don't think it's necessary to swear and describe in vivid detail what you're going to do to someone in bed. If I'm listening to the radio or a music stream and they play something with explicit lyrics, I immediately turn it off, and I will not purchase any music with explicit lyrics.

Well, if you listen to songs like that and the rappers mention girls in the song more than likely the your "girl" friends are gonna think it's about them.
