I think the 62 was more impressive because the Mavs did defend him, and he still outscored an entire team despite their efforts to stop him. The Raptors in the game he scored 81 points didn't even try to defend him until late in the game, so he had free reign to score at will. I thinks it's more impressive that he scored 62 against a team that tried to stop him than scoring 81 against a team that didn't even bother to try.
