The engagement ring is worn on the left hand. When you get married you wear the wedding ring on the inside with the engagement ring on the outside (assuming they are two separate rings). This means that your wedding ring is closer to your heart.
You wear your wedding and engagement rings on the left hand, third finger because there is a blood vessel that goes directly to the heart in that finger, and in medieval times (ok, a long time ago) it was believed that this was a direct connection for love.

Your engagment ring is worn of the left hand. The reason is actually because there is a vein in that finger that leads directly to your heart. Oh and don't forget at your wedding ceremony you are supposed to remove you engagment ring. Best of luck and Congrats.

It is worn on the left hand. The engagement ring is suppose to go in front of the wedding bang if that helps. In some religions though, it is sometimes worn on the right hand. I myself have seen certain people wear it on the right hand even though it is suppose to be on the left.

The engagement ring is placed on the left hand on your ring finger (to the right of your pinky). Traditionally, only the woman has an engagement ring, (because the man proposes) so she wears the stone up to the day of the wedding and her wedding ring is placed with it on the same finger during the ceremony. She usually ends up with two rings and the groom recieves his one ring at the ceremony. However, in my opinion, it's most important that you conduct your wedding experience and ceremony the way that you and your fiance(e) see most fitting. Regardless, congratulations and good luck!

The left hand, ring finger. When married, the wedding ring goes on the left hand, ring finger, then the engagement ring next to it on the left hand, ring finger.

the left hand ring finger, that's the one next to the pinky. it is worn there because in olden days they believed that vein went straight to the heart.
