Hurricane Katrina did not hit only New Orleans. In fact, it's worst spot weather-wise is east of the eye. Singing River, the boundary between southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi is where it came in, not New Orleans.

Please, can at least you that answer this stop asking about New Orleans only in your Katrina questions? True, the situation in New Orleans was sad and devastating, but so few people seem to think that New Orleans wasn't the only place hit. South Mississippi looks like it was hit by a bulldozer.
