About the new Pokemon games...?

Question

Red and Blue; Yellow.
Gold and Silver; Crystal.
Ruby and Sapphire; Emerald.
Diamond and Pearl....______

I am a fanatic of Pokemon games, they are so much fun. But does anyone know if they will follow their usual pattern, and in 3 months come out with say....Pokemon Platinum? The only thing I don't like about the Pokemon franchise is they now make it WiFi... and you have to have friends who play the opposite game... and they'll probably make unlockable Pokemon in Pokemon Battle Revolution...I miss the old games that were easier...without all the EV's and the battle types and strategies. So after expressing myself about that...I just want to make sure before I pre-order my game, that I can see if I can get the 3rd one....with the somewhat extra features (Crystal-Battle Tower, Emerald-Battle Frontier) and elements of both games...Is anyone sure about a 3rd game? I've looked everywhere.

I'd try emailing a pokemon company. They probably have a place for questions on a website.

yes Pokemon r fun but iam telling you they will soo be gone. there games are continuous and i quit the game because no one played it anymore. But if you r still a pkm nerd you should defiantly go for the new on that comes out for the Wii. (I may, but a doubt it). My original idea was a pkm game online, so that should be good.
