Obviously Steffi is the most famous although anyone christened Stephanie ( such as her ) could shorten their name to Steffi, if you were christened Steffi then that is more unusual.
Curiously, at the time Steffi Graf was dominating tennis, there was an austrian athlete who won the women's 800m athletics title at the European Championships, her name ? Stephanie Graf.
The tennis player's full name by the way is Stephanie Marie Graf.
