What was Romeo and Juliet's predicament?

Come up with a better plan for these "star-crossed lovers." Can you think of a solution that would bring about a better ending to the play?

Romeo and Juliet's predicament was not that they were in love, it was that they wanted something they could not have. Romeo wanted that spark of romance, and Juliet wanted to decide her own fate, but as children of the rich they were subject to their parents' rules and to the artificial social order. Also the feud that had been going on since time out of mind shaped not only their relationship to each other, but their place in the community and the future goals they would be expected to fulfill. There is probably not a better way for the play to end, because the main characters would never be free to pursue their own goals.

well, if friar john gave the note from friar lawernce there would not have been any death, i guess just eliminate the black death, or even if juliet ran away to romeo in mantua. i'm just finishing up the story in english. they talk to fancy.
