i am a huge sabres fan i have been since lafontaine was there and i am sick an tired of people asking this question yes the sabres are going to the playoffs are they going to do well yes they swept the canes in the regular season theve been 1st or second in the leauge almost the intire season when connoly comes back hes gonna boost their failing power play

For the last time, NO. No team with a starting record like the Sabres this year has ever gone to win the Cup. The closest was the '93 Leafs and they went to the conference finals. I think that was the same year where Gretzky's Kings eliminated them there.
Now get off the bandwagon before you hurt yourself. You guys sound like a broken record.

They definetly have a chance because there are no other teams that have as much balance on their first three lines as the sabres do. Every time the other team is out there, they either have to face drurys line w/kotalik, brieres line w/hecht, or the max vanek roy line which i personally think is awesome. Underrated defense (Tallinder and Paestch who has been playing unbelievable lately) and a great goalie in Miller all adds up to a good shot. Its no fluke they are #1 in the NHL right now
