Those who believe in the god you're describing will give you answers, but I doubt any will truly address your question. I can only speculate that believing god is watching & loving us all, brings comfort to people who "believe." I respect that, but I don't agree. I also don't believe you'll get "philosophical" answers when you refer to "God." Logic is not part of faith, you think?

Because sin is what separates us from God. And God wants us to be with him in the new Heaven and new Earth that he is going to create for us, but ultimately it is our choice. We can choose to accept him or not. It says in the bible that the first Heaven (space) and the first Earth (our planet) will pass away and a new Heaven and a new Earth will emerge. If we don't repent of our sins we won't be around to enjoy it, we will be in hell. God wishes that none should perish but have eternal life. Read these scriptures in the King James bible:
Revelation chapter 20 vs 12
Revelation chapter 21 vs 1
11 Peter chapter 3 vs 9

The answer that He created us is a good one. I work off the belief that that is true and take it from there to marvel at the fact that He DOES care about me and other "insignificant creatures on this planet."
That merits a response of thankfulness and love from me. The infinite Almighty choosing me as His child, even though I am a sinner is the best thing ever.
We must also remember that He is infinite and not limit for Him His capability to care about every part of His creation, here on earth and beyond. We are the finite ones.

Because god is a wonderful person, he is the "king" of all of us. Even if you dont belive in god, you were still made by him. He cares about "one tiny person" because he has a goal for us to reach in life. God created everything you see among yourself. You may say... uh... he didn't create this computer, but guess what....actually he did. He puts the equipment in front of people and gives the person the knowledge to create it. If you don' t belive in god, then you are LOST big time in this.

We are but a grain of sand in all the beaches of the earth....a mere speck lost in the abyss of space and time. From the perspective of the Universe, Man does not exist.

--The certainty of any other place, other than the earth is questionable, is it not?
--The Bible makes a thourough presentation of life on this little marble in the entire heavens.
--It is totally silent about life, in any form except angelic being around.
----Now if the Bible indeed talks about these super human invisible angels, cherubs, seraphs etc. who are a higher nature in who knows what demension, why would it be silent about other humans who we could relate to more readily?.....
--Do you not find it odd that Christ, the son of God, not God--never brought attention to any other living creatures in the heavens but the angels,-- as he is the foremost of them as his other title and name is Michael the Archangel?
--He revealed things about heavenly existence in the Scriptures that showed he was indeed there!
--It is of interest to note that the Bible speaks of Jesus as the "first born of all creation"--meaning that God, Jehovah did indeed create Him before anything else in the universe which could be trillions of years ago and more.
--Also alluding to your point of 6--24 days, that is not in accord with the Bible--The scriptures allow for the fact that the earth could easily be some 4-5 billion years old. Who knows the age of the universe, after the creation of Michael or Christ!
--There is a text that shows God's fondness of mankind here on earth and the involvement Jesus had in the making of most all of creation--As Genesis 1 & 2 says by God "Let US make in our image"(qualities) Please note the reference to the Son of God as "Master Worker"----
(Proverbs 8:22-31) “22Â “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23Â From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24Â When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25Â Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26Â when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27Â When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28Â when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29Â when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30Â then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31Â being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.”
--If you note the "master worker" , Michael had the same fondness for mankind or sons of men. No reference to any other place for humans. & if God would have created any other being, they would indeed be human because we indeed are the next rung down in the ladder, from the angels.
--The "probably" you mentioned has totally been absent from this solar system --in any way provable--much less anywhere else.
--Why is it so hard fore people to believe, we were the start of any civilization anywhere--this earth is a gem, a marvel--nothing in the heavens has even come anywhere near, by millions of reasons --absolutely no where?
--How much more powerful do the giant telescopes and more Hubble instruements sent out in space before the big shots admit --that we indeed are SPECIAL in God's eyes?
--In God eyes we are not small, Jesus illustration of the care God has of even a sparrow falling does indeed mean a lot to God, did he not create them?

If God does exist then it might do the same thing I do, which is to give its existance meaning. It could do that in any way it wanted to, such as create living beings on a cosmically insignificant planet and by doing so giving it's existance meaning.

" Trillions of civilizations " and yet, not a word. The silence of these trillions of civilizations that surround Earth-must also be a mystery. Maybe... just maybe, Jesus Christ is who he said he is.. Not who we say he is. Just a thought.

Some call him Supernatural, Infinate, All., he created the Universe, which suggests that his power, understanding, compassion, and love is above what we can comprehend, so why wouldn't he?
