I have a home based direct selling business and I want to create a stronger internet presence. I would like to get my link www.brenda.simplyfun.com out there to solicite consultants and generate sales from the site. I am a novice at this, and I do not feel inclined to do a "pay per click" campaign. Not that I am cheap, but I do not understand how it works and I do not want to end up with a huge bill monthly. The choosing key words is a bit scarry as well. I do not know that much about this sort of campaign. So... any other way to go about this without the exhorbitant cost?

There are number of ways to attract traffic.

1. Create a blog and ping it.
2. Participate in forum. Contribute your expertise in forum, place your link in your signature.
3. Article marketing. Write articles to article directories.
4. Submit to directories.
5. Use keywords to get rank high in search engine.
6. Newsletter.

It takes effort in building your site presence. Don't expect to have overnight success. Those who tell you that are probably scams or they already have success after years of work.

Hi. There are many forms of free advertising. Blogs, free webs, forums, traffic exchanges, safe lists, free classifieds, article submitting, ffa, list building. Using an auto-responder is important to keep in contact with your prospects. You can have your prospects leave their name and email at your lead capture page, allowing you to build a list over time that you can market to. Look at http://www.homeforwork.ws/training.html
