I've been working in various retail sales outlets for five years, but I"m looking for a position that has more lucrative financial options. What's my best option?

Have you thought of real estate? I know in areas it's down but you can still make money if you are a salesman. How about cars? They make good money if you are good. How about medical equipment sales to hospitals and Dr's? here are lots of things that ae sold. you can sell any kind of equipment from construction to office and home heating equipment. Good luck.
