Do I need to bring a passport, visa or green card with me on a US domestic flight? Is there anything else I need to know?

You wont need your passport as long as you have ID, but I would suggest having your green card with you. It could save you some hassle.

A passport is not needed for domestic flights in the US. However, you will need valid photo identification such as drivers license,.etc. The link describes what is acceptible i.d. for domestic flights.

if you are travelling within the US, you just need a driver's license or valid ID.

if you go outside US you will need a passport to re-enter the country. This rule recently changed for travel from Canada and Mexico.
