You know.. I don't get it! I can not imagine moving to a state where cars FREEZE! I've been up north but never lived there long term and quite frankly... if you tell me that I'm going to come out of my house in the morning and find my car FROZEN I'd say maybe it's time to move to Florida!

if u r in trouble:
park the car on a hill
stuff a potato in the exhaust (ignore all that u have heard)
pump the accelator
go down the hill
when you are going fast enough start the car
the car should start
the potato will fly off (make sure no one gets hurt)
and u will be on your way to work

This time of year is the worst. Some states don't even get near 30 degrees during the day. I was in Wisconsin one day when the high for the day was 8 degrees. That's why I live in N.C. Cars do not like being frozen for such long periods of time. I think in Alaska, it gets cold enough that the tires freeze solid and the flat spot on the bottom stays frozen in that position. That must make for a fun drive. I bet after this winter, some people move south. There's plenty of opportunity and open land in New Orleans right now.

Some days I feel that way myself. I have lived in all kinds of climates. I have loved and hated them all.

There is something really neat about being in a valley in Montanna, having plenty of wood for fires, plenty of food and drink. A couple of horses and a sleigh and your girlfriend for a moonlit ride, and then warm up afterwards by the fire.

I can say just about the same story about being on a tropical beach , your girlfriend and a couple of Mia Tai's.

Life is short. Make the most of it while you can.

The questions are there because it's the dead of winter with storms over much of the Midwest at the moment, and they need to know. Florida isn't big enough with the retired blue haired ladies and all the Cubans to fit in the rest of us. Besides, it's entirely too humid being mostly swamp, and has bugs that are way too big, not to mention gators and snakes. Add hurricanes to that...no thanks.
