I admit my uncertainty on this view, and would like the best answers from this group on that matter in the following point:

"What is the worth to the world of a person who flies airplanes into buildings? why is it right that all involved die so they can fly an airplane into a building? Why is it right that a suicide bombers rights be respected UNTIL after he blows up fifty children on a bus? Why does a man whom parkes a ryder truck in front of a building and blows up dozens of babies in a day care REALLY need to be respected? Im confused on this....

I need to know from folks why killing these people(or throwing them away in a pit) is bad in the sense that thier socital contributions are so great there lifes and rights should be defended at all costs. (And on a side note I have read the US constitution and find no mention of rights for forigen nationals contatined in it, but then there are none for political parties , either)

Wow good question!! i think what it boils down to some people like to feel like they are enlightened and better than everyone else. I feel the same way about suicide bombers and that ilk as I do my car, you need P.M. Preventive maintance. You dont change the oil in your car after it locks up. Same way with terrorist, you dont worry about them till after they strike, you do it b4!

People would like you to believe anything they have to say if it will promote the agenda that they hold. There is no value to life unless someone gives it a value. It is not your choice. The man next to you has the power to take your life, so does a wild animal if it is hungry. Your corpse is private property to do with it as (you)they are compelled to do. Laws mean nothing and are only a social control that are violated repeatedly. Men are sent to war to die for political reasons and all to few are found guilty in sending thousands to their death. Precious? Are you that stupid? Or just gullible.

Those that believe all life is precious do so regardless of the being in question's "moral fiber." I suppose in their eyes it must be a matter of true equality.

Iyou are not worth anything until you contribute- give the world a reason for your continued life. Just because you ARE does not mean you are WORTH the air you breath.

Given the parameters of the question as you have posed it, the need to protect the rights of the terrorist has nothing to do with the terrorist himself. He is wrong for having killed, there is no way around that.

The only question is whether our response is right or wrong. You insist that killing the terrorist is acceptable, since he killed. I can see that argument. Its hard to argue against. But I go to the Bible on this one as my moral code.

I argue that God has said each of us is a sinner, and all sinners deserve to die. Furthermore, God has chosen to forgive us and has allowed us a chance to be redeemed and to live. He did this because He loved us. We can't repay Him for this, but we can do what we are capable of to try. We can't redeem this person's soul, but we can allow him the time for God to reach him. He may turn back to God, he may not. But if we kill him, his chance ends right there. And God will have to lose another one of His sons, whom He loves.

Our purpose is not to save the person, who is wrong. Our purpose in this is to provide the time for God to save him. If you consider yourself as a follower of God (no matter which God you believe in), remember that you were given the time to come to God. God loved you enough and others gave you the time and help you needed to come back to God. You owe God that much (actually much more, but you can't do much more), you owe God to where you should give as much time as possible to all of your brothers (and though he is a terrorist he is also a human and therefore your brother) to come to Him; so that God will not have to lose any more of His children than is absolutely necessary.

I don't condone just letting the terrorist do whatever he wants and not touch him. But holding him in a jail so that he can't do these things but at the same time allowing him to live is what is required of us. Considering what God has done for you and for me, I don't think it is too much to ask. That is why their rights should be defended, it is God you are working for.

i think of there is a few type of value calculation in contact. isn't that nasty? All existence is invaluable, yet i might desire to take this existence to stay to tell the tale (ingesting, defeating threats), because of the fact my existence is greater invaluable than this different existence. and then it is going to become a skill equation - who has the skill to take existence?

All people who truly believe that life is precious don't tolerate evil that destroys life, regardless of what form it takes, so your question is moot.

"It has been posed by the "morally Superior" that all life is precious"

Post your source, please. And define "morally Superior".
