Easy. Men make the rules.
UNTIL WOMEN TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO START MAKING "NAMES" AND "WORDS" for themselves that stick, it won't matter what others say. Only when women start with making new words for their actions will they stick, and I CAN'T REPEAT THAT ENOUGH!
Men make the words, write the dictionaries.
Man with lots of women = stud
Women with lots of men = wh*re
Women MADE THE WORD "WOMYN" and its still around somewhat. So, why don't they do more "FOR THEMSELVES?" If Stephen Colbert can make "Truthiness" up, 1/2 the population can DEMAND the respect THEY DESERVE. They are our sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, granddaughters, neices, etc. We love them, so we should listen to them!!!

People are just mean and probably jealous of you. Are you in high school or middle school? If so, that kind of stuff happens all the time. Don't let those people put you down. Be proud who you are and of the choices you have made.

It depends on how you socialize with others. Do you say ignorant things and flirt a lot (or even dress promiscuously)? It could cause you to get stereotyped as a stupid whore. Just know who you are and let your friends know who you are in how you act and you'll be fine.

There could be millions of reasons. The friends you hang around with. Do u or your friends have bad reputations? It could be the way you dress or carrying yourself? If it's none of these things then people can be jealous of you.

Simply jealousy on their part, you just keep doing what you do and don't worry bout them, believe me in 5 years this will mean nothing to you! ;)

I'm stereotyped as a criminal and am ignorant but like me you just have to get over it. People create stereotypes to hurt people and try to prove to themselves and other that they are better then everyone else.
