Holy Crap someone actually made this claim...

"The problem with global warming is that it keeps on getting warmer. When the oceans start to boil, maybe you can figure out why that would be a bad thing.

Edit: Yes, a boiling ocean. The surface temperature on Venus is 800 degrees because of runaway greenhouse effect. Water boils at 212 degrees. Maybe a little hotter for salt water. "

And people wonder why others are skeptical.

I had a dream a short at the same time as that they found out that George Bush tousled so undesirable that the international temperature grow to be going to upward push to 500 ranges through summer. possibly no longer going to boil yet an ecosystem no longer in stability fails. trouble-free fairly

Well, if it gets to that, we will not see it - humans can't survive on a water-boiling temperature. So, if the oceans are going to boil, don't worry - you and me won't be arround to watch!

Using the alarming exponential rate of temperature increase:
T = 490.9306941*1.000022076^tt - 459
212 = 490.9306941*1.000022076^t - 459
671 = 490.9306941*1.000022076^t
1.3667917 = 1.000022076^t
t = 0.3124662/2.207576e-5
t = 14,154
The oceans will begin boiling circa 14,154 AD

Using the alarming quadradic rate of temperature increase,
T = 52.37018115 + 0.002781734t + 7.68921E-05t^2,
212 = 52.37 + 0.00278t + 0.0000768921t^2
t = 14,229 AD
The oceans will begin boiling circa 14,229 AD

I don't think so, but it wouldn't matter if they did because all life depends on water and if all water was converted to steam, all life on this planet would cease to exist.
