I am curious about something.
What single singer, or group has starred in the most movies?
I know Huey Lewis did Back to the future and Duets
but i cant think of many others. except rap stars (BOOOOOOO)

Harry Connick Jr. has been in alot including, Independence Day, Kid Rock in Joe Dirt, Snoop Dog in Starsky and Hutch, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Hilary Duff, Lyndsay Lohan, and Whitney Houston.

Do you mean big screen movies or made for tv movies. Back in the early days, most actors WERE singers. These days for tv, my best guess would be Reba McEntire and for the big screen would be maybe Harry Connick Jr. He has done a lot although not all starring roles.

Frank Sinatra made several movies. Some were musicals, some comedies with the Rat Pack, and some dramas where he never sang. At one point, he was almost as famous for being an actor as he was a singer.

I would think that the old-time singers like Frank Sinatra (70 movies) or Bing Crosby (88 movies) might fit that description. Mandy Moore has been in 24 movies. If you go to IMDB.com, you can do a person search.
