In Minnesota there was the pro wrestler Jesse Ventura who was elected governer from i think 2000-2004 or so. That state is obviously crazy (in a good way) so why not Al Franken next?

Not if he first has to wrestle Jesse Ventura. Doubtful unless his opponent has some scandal come up.

Coleman's not great, but he's head and shoulders above Franken.
He's just looking for material for a new book or something.

it truly is an excellent question. The Governor of Minnesota has been requested to seem on the finest votes solid to work out if any fraud become dedicated. With ACORN in touch it truly is distinctly probable.
