Unlike other media personalities who are supposed to be experts, however, Dr. Drew is ACTUALLY A LICENSED DOCTOR. If you listen to his show, his advice does help out a lot of people. Unlike "Dr." Phil, whose reaction to every problem is to insult the person and then suggest an extremely obvious and asinine solution, Drew actually uses his medical expertise honestly and helpfully.
How is he exactly a "scam artist"? He's not a millionaire; people don't pay to call in for his advice; what's in it for him?

I don't know, maybe because 90% of TV personalities are -
Bob Villa,
Martha Stewart,
Dr. Phil,
dare I say Oprah?
Seriously, what are any of their credentials? Americans like to support the average joe because it makes them feel as though they could be as successful.
Dr Drew is no different than the above except maybe not nearly as big.
There is only one TV personality that I put all my faith into, Jerry Springer! lol
