My parents only had 3 kids and they were all boys. However, my mother suffered through a few miscarriages, and at least one of those was a girl. Anybody know what this might mean for me, being one of the boys?

It means nothing. There is nothing genetically transmitted about what sex your children will be. You have a 50/50 chance each pregnancy. You either have a boy or a girl based on which sperm hits the egg first. No man has more x or y sperm than any other man. It is not a "proven fact" that if you have 2 or one sex you will have a third, its just statically more probable. And genes can't be dominant and recessive, even if there was a gene to control this.

Well my boyfriends mom had three boys and between the second and third one she had a miscarrage with a girl and then had the third boy

it is a proven fact that if a woman has 2 babies of the same sex, they are most likely to have the third baby of that sex.
This may be a gene that you inherit, or it could be recessive. Ths allele could be either dominant or recessive in your parents genes. If it is dominant, it will most likely happen to you. However, if your parents are carriers or recessive, there is a possibility it won't happen to your babies. It also depends if the mother of your babies is a carrier or dominant.

My parents had girl,boy,girl,boy,MC,girl.
My husband parents had girl,boy,girl,boy,boy,girl,girl,MC-girl,boy
We have girl,MC,girl,MC,girl,boy.
The 2 MC(miss carriages) were with-in the 6 weeks and no idea but they may have been boys.
I truly believe it is all in the power of someone else and we love who we get.
