real rings are sold at jewlery stores, so go to ur local jeweler and he'll check it for u
most jewelers do it with out a fee...

There will be a stamp indented on the inside of the band. It'll be three (in the cheap stuff, only 2) numbers, which tells you someting about the amount of pure silver in the ring. The higher the number, the better the quality.

Easy, check if there's a stamp etched into the ring that reads 925 - the numer indicating that it's real genuine no kidding STERLING SILVER.
