They don't kill cows for leather. They kill bulls. Cows are too valuable for milk and utter things.

They don`t kill any cows for makeing leather jackets they are killed for meat they use the hide and every thing for different thing

wELL, THEY AREN'T KILLED FOR THEIR LEATHER, they are killed for their meat and then the skin that is left over is used to make leather, and I would say about 3 cows die to make a leather jacket.

your trick question backfired on you but you are unaware of it.the previous answers were correct but most jackets and purses are made of goat skin leather and labeled 'buckskin' cattle skin leather is used manufacturing footwear and saddles in most cases
