When rounding to two decimal points, look at the third digit to the right of the decimal. If that digit is 4 or less, leave the second digit alone. If that digit is 5 or more, add one to the second digit.

Therefore, in 0.8469... since the third digit is 5 or greater, add one to the 4 and the number rounded to two decimal points is 0.85.

In .7777..., the third digit is 5 or greater, add one to the second digit and get .78

In 9.04878, the third digit is 5 or greater, add one to the second digit and get 9.05

In .6878..., the third digit is 5 or greater, add one to the second digit and get .69

If the number were .63489, the third digit is less than 5, so you leave the second digit unchanged and it is .63
