I believe, from prior experience with dating a Sasquatch on Valentine's Day, that all Sasquatches shave all their hair off, take a bath, and pretend to be human for the day and take a lady out for Valentine's Day.
The rest of the year, they go back to their usual selves.

He goes out and picks flowers for mrs sasquatch, picks native berries, kills a few deers and has a fire fly lit dinner..... Sasquatch is actually a really romantic dude.
