where in the United States is spandex prouduced like what region or state?

Im doing a project and wanna know where spandex is a major product or business so I know where to set up a factory so I can get the spandex near by.

Spandex is a manufactured product that really is almost distributed through the country relatively even , but I would say two places stand in mind .. California and Florida as are two states that the weather to be used out doors is favorable including the exercise life stile , but New York is the clothing industry capital .
