I just bought a fiddler crab habitat and got six fiddler crabs separately. They're quite small and eat shrimp pellets. I'm wondering if anyone else has owned them and can tell me if they get any larger, or any other information.

Yeah, I had two some years ago... I named one Harry and the other Houdini because they were such escape artists. I don;t know how large your are, but mine did grow a bit in the time that I had them. Here's a link that will help you out:

I have a crab....They will grow, and usually depending on the sex, get a 50 cent piece size or a silver dollar size. If they continue to eat, and are healthy, they will grow, and will shed their exosceleton. They should do this about once a month. When this happens, leave the exoskeleton in there. Most likely the crab will eat it. It has lots of nutrients for crabs in their own shells. Have fun!

I had some that I got at the beach when I was little. I do know that they get to be about 3 or 4" across. I kept mine in a 55 gallon tank with sand and seawater in it. They lived about 6 mos.
