Is George preparing to attack Iran? He's talking the same way he did before Iraq. Damn, you Americans should insist that he see a psychiatrist.

Maybe he's a meth addict.

Not as nuts as Franklin D. Roosevelt. There's a guy who, when attacked by one country (Japan) immediately retaliated against the whole world. He ended up "murdering" over 430,000 U.S. men and women in less time than bad-boy Bush took to "murder" 3100.

Of course I'm being sarcastic on both counts. And one life lost is one life too many. This is war and it may never be unavoidable. Unless we remove our spines and have the modern, civilized decency to smile sweetly and gingerly when Saddam, who, according to eye-witness Kurds, killed over 3 million people in their towns and villages. Now, Now, let's keep our tempers. That was just a sovereign leader doing what he felt was best for his own nation. Right? Maybe we should ask the Kurds that before deciding.

The best we can hope for is a near-bloodless war. Given the juxtaposition of 430,000 to 3,100 - in about the same time frame - I think we've come close, already.

And when you consider that D.C. has had a higher death rate per 10,000 per year than our troops in Iraq, it has been suggested that we begin evacuating that place first. It would save more lives!

And if you don't want to be looked at as a clueless talking head, don't tell a returning soldier that you pity them for all the hell this president has put them through. Most I know of are Gung Ho to a tilt. They repeatedly and with great frustration vilify the one-track "X#’s of U.S. troops died today" headline-athon. Why can't they print one $&^@!! story about the progress we're making? And I keep hearing of wave after wave of new enlistees. So, who’s getting lied to here? If they’re over there, every day seeing the good, the bad and the ugly, firsthand, and have no reason to lie about it, what’s the scoop?

The scoop is this: Media moguls take very seriously the idea that “the press is the fourth branch of government” and most are doing all they can – including insulting the families of those who have fallen – to sway elections their way.

I dare say that, until we can sneak a few hundred people into Iraq with cameras and laptops, we'll never hear anything but the media mantra.

The bottom line on all this is that our sense of the numbers is press-hyped and taken so out of context as to turn the current generation into unthinking automatons (or such is the goal). The agenda driven media have no spine for printing facts about any positive progress in Iraq. Nor to discuss the fact that chances of survival there are much higher than in some U.S. high schools and inner cities.

It's the media moguls who need the psychiatrist. Or at least a math teacher.

Yes he is freaking nuts. But he has two more years to share his insanity. I do believe he can fit another endless, grounds less, pointless war in before his term is up. If we were to insist he see a psychiatrist then we would end up with the government tapping our phones, reading our mail and barging in on our school classes. I don't think he is a meth addict, he is actually a dim witted man placed in power by his party and consequently responsible for thousands of lost live and not just Americans. He doesn't know what else to do he is way in over his 'C' average head.

I don't honestly think ol' George seriously thinks an invasion of Iran is in the offing. HOWEVER, it'd be nice if Iran would act like it didn't deserve to be invaded.

Personally, I believe the war in Iraq was (mostly) intended to get him re-elected. How hard is it to immigrate to Canada?

President Bush has completely lost his mind. I think he's lost contact from reality.
