I raise both box turtles and African tortoises, which are land turtles. You don't say whether you have a land turtle or a water turtle. I summer my turtles in a large enclosure outside and their appetite is voracious. Things change in the winter time though. I bring them in for the winter as it is far too cold for them to survive outdoors. Turtles become very sluggish in the winter as they would normally hibernate if left on their own (in their own environment). Their metabolism slows during the winter months also, which decreases their appetite. It is still very important that they eat, however. I have to arouse my turtles a bit by using a bright lamp for both warmth and light, and I also try to wake them up a bit by placing them in a tub filled with an inch or so of water. This may spark them to eat. Try their favorite foods- box turtles love night crawlers, and find them hard to resist. (I buy them at a bait shop). Also any fresh, brightly colored produce - berries, greens, shredded carrots, etc. The pet store sells crickets (both live and dried). If the turtle still won't eat, please take it to your vet. Many vets are not used to caring for turtles. If your vet isn't, ask for a Vitamin B shot which my vet and I have used on many occasions with great success. Your turtle will be eating in no time! Good luck.......

You are not providing a lot of information, but...
THE most common reasons turtles stop eating for is that the temps are too low. Turtles love warmth. Most pond turtles, for example, want water temps of 75-80F.
If the water is not heated, the water temps will drop in the winter in most of the US, and the drop messes up the turtle's metabolisms.

Reptiles don't eat as often as mammals. It's February because we just had January and it isn't March yet!

He misses his family, his mother and brothers, his mate, the sunshine, his hometown, the open water and terrain. He has no life.
