Escamoles - I was in Mexico City a couple of years ago and had to try it.

It tasted like rice crispies.

It was served with a couple kinds of soft tortillas, guacamole, and various salsas.

It is ant larvae.

Creamy herb chicken in a dough-like substance with aspragus. Had it during the family reunion for my great grandma's 100th birthday several years ago.

It was disgusting. But a once in a lifetime experience. We had a party at a resturant where you are required to dress nice and use the proper silverware per course. (A snotty upper-class joint another words.)
