The date isn't set. In the meantime, I suggest you read the Harry Potter books if you haven't. I've read them all so far and they are 10X better. Also I've heard that Eragon is not a bestseller, whereas H.P. is. And the last book coming out in summer is supposed to be a blockbuster-type book.

They really haven't set the date, but you can get a newsletter from www.alagaesia.com (they are written by Paolini himself!)
They are saying sometime this year or the next.

It hasn't been announced as of now. Not much has been announced about the book yet, except that it will have a green dragon looking to the right on the cover. The title is rumored to be Empire, but that's not set in stone. My advice would be to get a newsletter from here:
