Far, far too many, when they were illegal.

There were done by hacks, or self-induced, and it wasn't the least bit uncommon for women to bleed to death or develop a fatal infection. It also wasn't the least bit uncommon for women to have their lives saved, but to left sterile and/or in permanent ill health.

For all those anti-abortionists out there, remember that women will always, under their specific circumstances, chose to have an abortion. But what you want to do is not punish them with their own deaths. That is NOT a pro-life choice - it's an insane one.

And for fruit.nevermore, you'd do well to actually use real numbers and real facts. RU486 was never developed as an "abortion pill". RU486 is meant to prevent implantation of a fertilized ova, and as such, to not allow a pregnancy. Any drug used on an off-label basis can kill. By denying access to RU486, you are killing women.

It would be nice if any women let their husband to know. If husband is not good and very drug, or drinking, or abused, what ever it reason then she don't have to tell him. But if he want to have a baby and you don't then have to talk to him about this. It take two people to make decided to abortion. Not just one person to make it. Again it take two people (Man and Woman) to make baby. It not like the stories we hear like if you kiss will get pregant, Bird and the bee, hug, thinking about baby, stuff like that didn't mean you can get pregant. So, two people need to make decision to make. It better than doing it alone. He will not have gain access to her medical record no matter if married or not he will not have access period. That why it better if both talk about it and see what need to be done. that way he will know what going on becasue wife have the access information to share with him. If you don't share with him Bad Karma will come look for her back. So make it simple and talk about it and solve it ... hope that helps.

Yes, abortions as people may think is the perfect solution to their sex drives and problems have dangerous side affects. You can die, you might not be able to have kids ever again and much more. Every Abortion Is Just
One more heart that was stopped. Two more eyes that will never
see. Two more hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run. One more mouth that will never speak.

Yes, many American women have died from so-called "safe and legal" abortions AFTER abortion was legalized.

Regardless of where an abortion is committed or by whom, it is known as a "blind procedure." The abortionist cannot see what he is doing as sharp instruments are inserted into the womb, but must go by "feel." As a result, he may easily puncture the uterus, bladder, or bowel. Women who abort can die from many causes, including systematic infections, hemorrhaging, and reactions to anesthesia. Women have died from both surgical and chemical abortions. For details on these deaths, see:

Many have, usually the illegal ones that is why they started making them legal, because they realized that ever if they where illegal people would still get them but then ended up frequently in the hands of opportunist that used poorly sterilized equipment, people that didn't know what they where doing, or try to do it themselves. these girls and women frequently ended up with severe infections, punctured uterus and dead. take the right to have an abortion away and this is what will start happening alot more frequently again.

Yes. Usually though, they are the result of abortions performed in unsanitary conditions by unqualified personnel.

From http://www.religioustolerance.org/aboru486d.htm:

-RU-486 (abortion pill): 1 death in 200,000 abortions.
-Vacuum aspiration abortion: 1 death in 200,000 abortions
-Childbirth: 1 death in 14,300 pregnancies
-Illegal abortions: 1 death in 3,000 abortions.

So yes women have died from getting legal abortions. However, the death rate for women from legal abortion is MUCH lower than that from childbirth.

So overall, more women have actually been *prevented* from dying by getting abortions.

Illegal, back alley abortions, yes and sadly quite frequently.

Legal abortions, I've never heard of one, but I'm sure there has been someone somewhere that has.

If you are planning one, don't worry, you'll be fine.
