I highly recommend ABC Country Restaurant. A bit cheaper than Applebee's or Knight and Day, and good food. Any of these will do you well though.

I highly recommend Pasta Polo in Coquitlam, at 2754 Barnet Highway (near Lansdowne Dr), and they also have another restaurant in Langley. The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, a large varied menu - lots of pasta dishes, salads, etc. And, the desserts are made on the premises. But, it can get very busy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings when you can expect a long wait for seats.

I love the Old Spaghetti Factory for a family restaurant. They have good prices, a neat atmosphere, a great assortment of pasta, and your meal always gets finished off with Spummoni (sp?) ice cream! There is one in Gastown downtown and it is cool cause there's a train car inside with tables in it and you can request a table in there. There's also one in New Westminster by the New West Quay. Hope you have a good dinner!

The White Spot is an excellent family type restaurant. Another is The Pantry. Also try any ABC restaurant.
