I tried dragging it down and put it on top of iTunes icon but it wont go in and i don't know how to put it on there any other way. My iPod is charged and all so its all good but i just need those songs in there.

Just drag it into your library in itunes.

simple
first either keep the music on ur desktop or move it to a folder (say my music?)
then open itunes, and click file>>>add file to library
find the songs that u want, whether then be on ur desktop or in ur my music folder
then pulg in ur ipod, it will pop up in the itunes program and drag ur "Music" playlist to the Ipod
there ya go

there should be a search option in the menu bar kinda like with the windows media player you just teel it where to look and it gets the music automaticaly
