Right click on anywhere on your Dekstop wallpaper. A dialog would come up, click on Properties. Go to the Settings tab and adjust your screen resolution

3. Click Appearance and Theme's
4. Click Change the screen resolution
5. Change the resolution to 1024x768

You would find a Frame named "Screen Resolution" with a slider to adjust the resolution.
You can move the slider to 1024*768 position.
Click on Apply

It depends on the model of your computer. But if you have Windows XP then click on your icon from your start menu when your logged in and select "change computer theme"; click on the "settings" tab and adjust it to 1024x768.

right click-> settings-> move the slide bar to change the resolution-> click apply-> and then click ok on the pop up that my come up then click ok. This should change your resolution
