I usually gain about 3 pounds a day or so before I go into my period. By time the period is done, the weight goes down. How come?

Water Weight... It used to happen to me every month, once it's over you should lose the weight.

Essentially you gain water weight before your period due to the hormonal changes that occur at this time. If you limit your salt intake before your period, you will not gain as much weight. Vigorous exercise (with sweating) might help you lose some water weight. Good luck!

Because you're retaining water and you're probably eating greasy, fattening foods because we all get those cravings....

try to reduce your sodium intake, eat more vegetables and fruit and drink more water.

you can get bloated very easily. cut down on salt and remeber that you will lose it again.
