That is, abilities, such as feats of strength, defying gravity or other scientific laws, moving through objects, telekenesis, etc. Could this perhaps be achieved by exercising/accessing the unused portions of the brain/mind? Are we truly capable of anything that we believe we can do?

Please tell how/why you believe this is/isn't possible!

Maybe feats of strength. There have been documented cases where mothers have lifted or moved things that aren't physically possible to save their children.

Common sense, and not being gullible, would dictate that humans can't defy gravity, jump up and fly away like a hawk or any of the other silly ideas. The reason so many people believe this stuff is because of what old P.T. Barnum (Barnum & Bailey circus) said: "there's a sucker born every minute."

No, but i do believe that people have the multiple abilities that they are not aware of. For example: the ability of manipulation. You must know some people that can manipulate anyone to get what they want. Another example is beauty. beautiful girls can make guys do whatever they want. These are abilities that mostly everyone has.
